Should I join a topbar beekeeping organization?

Q.  Is there any Bee Organization you would recommend joining?

A. I would tend to try to find a Topbar Organization. The Langstroth beekeepers have the tendency to scoff at the topbar concept. In fairness though, if the organization is open minded you can learn a lot about bees and beekeeping.
